Digging History: The Science of Excavation

Despite the rainy weather, we had a great turn out for the Digging History event yesterday.  During the talk, Museum staff and archaeologists discussed the history of the Alley, the evolution of the properties at 124 and 126 Elfreth's Alley, past and present archaeology along the Alley, and the soil science behind archaeology.  The Thanks to everyone who braved the rain to come to the event!  Check out the The Museum of Elfreth's Alley website  for a full recap of the science filled weekend!
